            GROUND FORCES

                       The Iraqis are capable of firing chemical weapons from a number of
            systems,  The FROG rocket system and SCUD 8, Al Husayn, and Al Abbas surface-to-
            surface missiles are all capable of firing chemical munitions. The Iraqis also
            possess artillery systems capable of firing chemical munitions. By far the most
            numerous system is the 130mm M46 field gun with over 1,000 in the Iraqi
            Inventory; this gun and others assigned to artillery battalions typically are
            deployed in 18 gun battalions. Other artillery systems include:
