GET THE LEAD OUT!
Instead of recycling many people thing that incinerators seem to be the perfect answer. It does sound like a good idea, doesn't it? Burn all the smelly rotten garbage and turn it into energy besides. That seems to be the perfect solution. EXCEPT for one thing, the ash is tremendously toxic. Something strange happens when trash is burned. Items which we do not consider toxic produce toxic ashes when the gasses and heavy metals are released during combustion, There are two classes of ash: fly ask and bottom ash which are obviously labeled. (If you compare this to a fireplace, you can see the "flying ash" come out the chimney and the "bottom ash" is what needs to be cleaned up afterwards.)

Studies have been done in incinerators and the reports coming back are frightening. The fly ash contains excessive levels of sulfur dioxide and many toxic heavy metals such as mercury and lead which poison -our air, soil, and water sources even it filters
