RETIREE NEWS by CMS Dennis Morgan (Ret)     

Attention Retirees:
The 1500 Breakfast Club at each and every breakfast. we are getting new members. It's
always great to see newcomers to the club or should I say  "oldcomers". Times have 
changed since the good old days. but it sure is nice to reminisce about the good times
we shared together, so come on you "oldtimers". come out and join the fun. Next
breakfast is on Mar: 4 at 0830 at the Hitching Post Restaurant, Route 422 in West Lawn.

Where are they now?

Cot. Clarence Withers - lives at                                               Clarence
is a veteran of 37 years. Believe it or not, he still makes the great spiked cherries at
the holiday season I know everyone remembers those cherries.

CMS Lester Hartman - 32 yrs. of service. lives at                 . Les is enjoying
retirement by staying around home and doing small jobs to keep busy, likes to go to
Leesport Auction on Wednesdays.

RETIRED RESERVISTS & FAMILIES USE MOST MWR FACILITIES

 Retired Air Force reservists eligible to pay at age 60 and their family members - by
showing their ID card and a copy at the sponsor's retired Reserve orders - now have
access to all revenue-generating morale, welfare and recreation facilities.

DINING HALL

New lunch meal hours are 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Sat. and Sun.

New meal prices
	Breakfast $1.10    with surcharge $1.65
	Lunch  $1.90    with surcharge $3.10

Only individuals who reside outside the 55 mile radius of the installation and are provid'
ed quarters by the installation are authorized to eat breakfast during UTA.

MICROWAVEABLE MEALS:

Individuals performing an EQT/RUTA during a time period when our dining halt is not
opened will be issued a microwaveable meat and beverage, rather than going to the 230
Diner. Supervisors at individuals performing duty need to submit NGB loss to the Ser-
vices office one week prior to training. The individual will then pick up dinner tram the
Services attics. It the Services office cannot be reached tar a request. the (allowing in-
dividuals may be contacted to issue meals: MSgt. Ben Wilson, ext. 506, TSgt. Annette
Lohr, ext. 348.

POSITION AVAILABLE: (l93MSS/CCE-204)

The 183rd Mission Support Squadron is accepting applications far its First Sergeant
position. The position will be available in September 1991 and will have responsibility
for a squadron and three flights. Interested personnel should contact the Squadron Ex-
ecutive Officer. 1Lt. Rico, ext. 204, room 2t4, building 81, during the November or
December UTA's or the Squadron Commander: Lt. Col. Martin, ext. 320. room 214, building
St, during the week. Synopsis of mandatory qualifications:

	a. MSgt or promotable TSgt (SMSgt or CMSgt maybe considered. however assignment of personnel in these grades is unusual and must be approved by Hq.. PaANG.)

	b. Prior qualifications at the 7 or 9 level in any AFSC.

	c-Ability to speak clearly and distinctly-

	d-Completion of the NCO Academy (residence or correspondence) prior to entry
	into the AFSC -

	e-Completion of theist Sergeant Academy (preferably prior to September 1991)

	f-Completion of high school or GED equivalency.

	g-Person selected must be available for additional duty during the week prior to
	each UTA as a minimum. . 

Experience in functions such as personnel management or supervision, counseling. conducting drills or parades, inspecting personnel and facilities and, conducting training in military subjects is desirable.  Completion of high school or college courses in social sciences, socialology, psychology, and english is desirable.
