File: aaaop_04.txtin the flight briefing area to support aircrew MOPP 4 (BLACK) flying requirements if an attack should take place. (1) If an attack should take place, MOPP 4 (RED), aircrew briefing for flight will take cover immediately and don CBO (aircrew) mask w/filter pack attached, and butyl gloves. (2) When the attack is over, continue flight briefing and await confirmation of condition MOPP 4 (BLACK) or alarm YELLOW/ALL CLEAR. If alarm YELLOW/ALL CLEAR is announced resume normal operations. (2) If the MOPP 4 (BLACK) condition persists, continue the flight preparation by "buddy dressing" into the remainder of the ACDE in the life support. MOPP LEVEL 4 (BLACK) OPERATION PROCEDURES 1. If the MOPP 4 condition is persistent, all but two life support specialists will depart for CCA operations. a. The departing specialists will: (1) Retrieve ACDE items that were not used in briefing areas. (2) Move the retrieved ACDE and follow-on flight gear (aircrews who are not briefing or ready to fly) to the CCA. (3) Set-up CCA for both expedient and detailed processing of aircrew members. b. The remaining specialists will assist prepared aircrews from the briefing areas in "Buddy Dressing" if they are to launch aircraft. 2. Aircrews returning from flights during condition BLACK will: a. After opening canopy, hand crew chief your overboots and overcape. b. Exit cockpit and close canopy. While still on ladder, crew chief will assist in donning overboots prior to placing feet on the ground. 3. Aircrew will be transported from the aircraft in a covered vehicle to the CCA. If covered vehicle is not available, don the overcape with assistance from the crew chief. 4. Immediately after arriving at the CCA: Remove/dispose of over- cape. Attendant will debrief and examine aircrew for transferable contamination and direct to expedient or detailed processing. 5. For expedient line/detailed processing proceed to equipment storage area to doff flight gear and ACDE IAW T.O. 14P3-1-131.
