;UBJECT: Chemical Protective Undergarment and Mask for Firefighters

~BSERVATION: Firefighters are still limited to performing surround
.nd drown tactics from inside their vehicles in a chemical
nvironment. This impairs mission support.

CTION: Need to accelerate procurement action for the new aircrew
.ndergarment and a helmet/hood compatible with self contained
~reathing apparatus. The present chemical protective suit is too
ulky to be worn in combination with the firefighting suit. this
egrades mission support.
