OBSERVATION: More is being done to protect personnel, critical  
equipment, and aircraft.  
  
ACTION: Sandbags and shovels were sent to six of our most  
forward locations. An additional 571,000 sandbags are on  
order. Aircraft revetment kits are coming via sealift (ETA 23 Oct)  
Berming of munitions and POL is in progress.
