    I. (U) TA Deficiency Examples
    
    (1) (U) Emergency Services - Woods Light, Peak Flow Meter,
    Respirometer, Oximeter and Polarizing Lens/Collimator for lab
    microscope.
    
    (2) (U) Surgery - Portable X-ray unit, portable scrub sinks,
    electrosurgical grounding plate cords and adapter, cardiovascular
    suture, sterilizer incubator, hemoclip appliers, TA 55 stapler, and
    large amounts of orthopedic equipment.
    
    (3) (U) Pharmacy - Insufficient anti-inflammatory agents, anti-
    hypertensives, cough/cold preps, and antidotes. Inadequate psycho
    therapeutic agents and no muscle relaxants or second generation
    caphalosporin antibiotic. No computer/printer, label maker
    oroaram or micro-medex available.
    
    (4) (U) Bioenvironmental Engineering/Environmental Health - Vacuum
    pump, ion exchange for water, DREL kit, sample collection cooler,
    Radiac SE Battery PTBL, indicator gas, hydrazine detector tubes,
    Thermometer Bimetallic, earplug, inadequate wet globe temperature
    kit and portable thermograph and recording paper.
    
    (5) (U) Anesthesia - Volume Ventilators, oxygen monitors,
    combination EKG/non-invasive B/P pulse oximeter, MRL Porta Pak, blood
    warmers, Caprometors, Wright respirameter, and vital signs
    temperature monitor with probes.
    
    (6) (U) Laboratory - Pregnancy tests, freezer storage for fresh
    frozen plasma, greater refrigeration capacity, ova and parasite
    collection/concentration kits, and microbiology culture capability.
    
    3. (U) SAFETY:

    B. Munitions Siting. Current beddown plans plus additional
    operational requirements facilitated siting of several additional
    munitions storage pads. Currently all munitions can be sited without
    waiver in open storage areas. Weapons siting at the FOL will be
    accomplished this week. Revised site plans should be available for
    CENTAF/SEW review the following week (10-14 Dec).
    
    C. (U) Flying Safety.
    
    (l) The PAPI visual approach system is operational for A-10
    aircraft on runway 34R. Installation of a PAR on runway 34L will
    require flight check of the PAPI on that runway.
