      TAC/SG has requested 5,000 of these kits for evaluation of environmental
      samples.
     
      HSD/YA to simultaneously working packaging and training issues for
      the system.
     
      HSD is sending us further information on the briefings provided to
      date. They have assured us that the program has been fully coordinated with
      the Army, particularly the Commander of the US Army Medical Research Institute
      of infectious Diseases (USAMRDC/CC, the lead DOD lab for medical BW defense.
      Reportedly, USAMRIID/CC was very impressed with the prototype system and is
      pressing for testing against virulent Ax within 5-7 days. AFSC/CV and SAF/AQL
      were briefed on the system on 10 Jan.   SAF/AQL decided not to present the
      briefing to AF/CV at that tame. SAF/AQL TAC/SG, AFSC/SG and AFSPACECOM/SG were
      at HSD yesterday for a demonstration of the system.  We will arrange a briefing
      on the system at Bolling if you desire.
