Stealth pilots demolished 23 of 28 possible targets. 18 Feb Day 33, Wave Three: The night's final wave sent ten more fighters on bombing raids to a Saud plant at Taji, a solid propellant - plant at Latifiya, and a probable Scud assembly plant at Fallujah. One aircraft air aborted, but the remaining nine pilots delivered their bombs scoring 14 direct hits and four misses. The Central Air Forces Commander, Lt Gen Charles D. Homer, escorted four US Senators to King Khalid Air Base to visit the 37 TFWP. These visitors included Sen ators Sam Nunn (D-Ga), John Warner (R-Va), Daniel Inouye (D-Hi), and Ted Stevens (A-Alaska).
