(U) 21AF message 181800Z Sep. 90 responds to 2AES MEDRED-C of 130001Z Sep 90
regarding use of propositioned A/E equipment at Rhein-Main AB. 2AES stated it
was dangerously low in equipment (i,e., Cl41 trip seats, eta) which could
result in cancelled A/E missions. 21AF responds stating the propositioned
equipment is for use in emergencies or disasters and not for use in sustained
activities such as Operation DESERT SHIELD. (Source: as noted above)
