ITEM NO. 8 PERSONNEL MOBILIZED WHILE IN TRAINING

BACKGROUND: Nurses In training programs were mobilized prior to training
completion (counter to AFR 28-5 exemption rules). Sel Res students subject to
activation.

DISCUSSION: AFR 28-5 exemption rules followed for some nurses (Including
CRNAs). Exemptions do not apply for PIM or Sel Res.

RECOMMENDATION: Develop uniform exempt/deferment policy for students and
professional medical force.

ACTIONS REQUIRED: Follow established procedures.
