      LOGISTICS ISSUE NO. 3 AE COMM GEAR

      DISCUSSION: Communication hardware needed in AE units, for example, PACER
      BOUNCE, STU-III, LMRs/Base stations for AE units on the ground.

      RECOMMENDATION: Review communications gear requirements and add to TA where
      appropriate to upgrade existing capability.

      ACTIONS REQUIRED: Identify and procure necessary communication equipment for
      AE units.

      ACTIONS COMPLETED: AMC committee has made recommendations and AMC/SGX is
      working with AMC/SC to ensure that AE forces have state of the art equipment
      which is comparable with other AMC and Air Force elements.

      STATUS: Open.
