       SUBJECT: NBC Reporting Requirements

       1. References:
                  I
           a. FONECON between MAJ Mathis, ARCENT G3 NBC, and CPT Stien
       XVIII ABN Corps NBC on 1 February 1991, SAB.

           b. ARCENT NBC Memorand= 20 LTan 91, Subj: NBC SITREP.

       2. In response to your inquiries per Ref a, the following
       information is provided for clarification.

       3. Ref b is an additional report, not a replacement for the
       Divisional Chemical Units' Report. The two reports are used by
       the NBC Branch to convey NBC Defense Equipment status information
       at ARCENT level.

       4. The format for the weekly Divisional Chemical Units' Report
       is at enclosure. This report was previously required by ARCENT
       G3 message DTG 01052OZ Nov 90, Subject: Chemical Defense
       Equipment (CDE)/Cheraical Unit Status Reporting. The report is
       due every Friday NLT 2400 hrs. It must be re-initiated
       immediately and continue until further notice.

       5. POCs are LTC Merryman/SGM Grosve;Lor, (TAC) 9-7806-337/338.
