                 CONVULSANT ANTIDOTE FOR NERVE AGENTS (CANA)

                   THESE INTERIM PROCEDURES ARE IN ADDITION TO THOSE
                     FOUND IN THE SOLDIERS MANUAL OF COMMON TASKS

                                                  SEVERE SYMPTOMS OF NERVE-AGENT
                                                  POISONING REQUIRING CANA:
                                                     9 Severe muscle twitching.
                                                     9 Convulsions, seizures.
                       Convulsant antidato for Nerve gents 9 Unconscious with nerve agent symp-
                                                        toms.


                                                  USAGE:
                                                     o  Inject CANA in the same way you in-
                                                        ject the MARK I (larger autoinjector).
                                                     o  When a fellow soldier needs addi.
                                                        tional MARK I injections after hav-

                 or                                  o  If he has not received any MARK I
                                                        injections, go ahead and give all
