            Cdr's Comments: Outstanding training continues this week for both         1-505 and 3-505.
            1-505 squad/platoon live fire trench clearing and breaching exercise at ALI RANGE
            have been very well planned and executed. A very beneficial exercise for each
            squad/platoon. 3-505 continues EXEVAL preparation in LTA E. Highlights included a
            mass casualty exercise performed by the Bn yesterday with aviation support.
            Coordination continue between 3d Bde and 307th En Bn with regards to the life
            support area LSA vicinity of AB QAIQ. Recommended modifications to the existing
            generic base camp master plan have been proposed to the 307th En Bn. Clarification
            an electrical power, lighting, and water sources is still pending. An LSA upgrade
            planning meeting will be held to discuss issues on 13 Nov 90.

            CDR's Comments: The Brigade's decontamination exorcise        was an enormous success.
            Each Bn/Sqdn and HHC contributed to the team effort required to achieve its overall I"
 the past 7 days 2-82 has lost several aircraft to engines. This is not @
            likely to improve due to non-availability of replacement engines. However, we
            strongly support that the EXEVAL continues but it may require a waiver of Corps
            policy of 75% availability to conduct operational missions.

            Cdr's Comments: Quality assurance inspections are investigating weapons incidents
            to determine the condition of the ammo. SARSS objective technicians continue to
            troubleshoot our system for possible problems.
