         Cdr's Comments: Preparing for projects at ALI and KHALID Range, to include DIVARTY
         fire base and 3-73 TTS Range. Also working closely with 3d Bde to insure their LSA
         development is on line. Checked 3d Bde's obstacle plan an the ground yesterday with
         Bde Engr. Have begun planning an Engineer Assault Course for KHALID Range.

         Cdr's Comments: We continued to be critically short of Arabic linguists. This
         problem has been evident for several weeks but is more of a problem now owing to
         return of 311th and 519th MI Bn linguists. At this point in time, we have 21
         linguists on hand. We need over 50 to be able to accomplish our mission with high
         standards.
