              FRAGOT 009-91 to 7th Engr En OPLAN 5-90

              1.       SITUATION. IZ Forces continue to improve their
              defenses, but have the potential of launching a spoiling attack
              which could overrun LOGBASE ECHO. Currently, there is no special
              threat to LOOBASE ECHO.


              2.       MISSION.

                  The 7 Engr Bde supports 1CD defensive preparations to block
              and defeat any IZ spoiling attack. On order, 926th EN GP moves
              to NR 355975 (FAA WENDY).


              3. (U) EXECUTION.


                  a@ (U) 926 Engr Op.

                       (1)       On order, relocates to FAA WENDY under the
              operational  control (OPCON) of 1CD to enable the division to use
              attack helicopters in the vicinity of LOi3BASE ECHO.

                       (2)       Maintain positive corrinia with 7 Erigi, Ede from
              LOGBASE ECHO.

                  b.        317 Engn Bii. Prepare 60 HMMWV survivability
              positions on the Wadi Al Batin approach for ICD.

              4. SERVICE SUPPORT. No Change.

              5. COMMAND AND SIGNAL. No Change.
