592 2004 The following is a compendium of maj cerris
reports to higher, various meetings attended and things
picked up around the CTOC:
#I. XVIII CORPS OPERATIONAL STATUS: No significant problems
noted with combat systems. #2. TASK ORGANIZATION: NO
CIIANGE. FLOT: 6TH LT AR DIV (FRENCII), 101st DIV (AASLT),
24TH ID(M), and 3rd ACR are screening along PL RAZOR in
zone. #5. REMARKS: 11. Dust pallative is and will continue
to be an essential product. CORPS is currently experiencing
problems in MSR construction because of a lack of dust
pallative. This problem will be magnified during PH III and
may affect operational tempo. The problem has two aspects.
A- availability of the product. B-hauling the product when
it is available. ARCENT ENG, CPTs Reichert and Cahill, are

this as one of the top five issues with the Saudi government.
This elevation of the issue should be supported in order to
get the pallative in the quickest manner possible. #2.

COSCOM, and G-4 raps today to resolve some of the issues.
2. As a result of todays meeting the following
recommendations have been made:
a. Contaminated remains will not be moved from the
location of contamination. This is in line with theater
policy.
b. Remains will be placed in a 5% solution of
decontaminate for the appropriate amount of time.
C. At the conclusion of the decon the remains will be
placed in a vapor free container and checked with a 256 kit
to determine if they are clean.
d. When a clean reading is achieved the remains will be
evacuated to a GREEG site.
3. CORPS noted that chemical or medical troops will probably
not be available to conduct the decon of remains. These
soldiers will be conducting other missions. The soldiers
