1. (U) SITUATION

2. JZ) MISSION: The lst COSCOM provides Direct Support
Maintenance, Class IX, Backup DS and recovery with primary
evacuation support to its customers during combat operations.
Priority is to units in contact. The objective is to
Ostablish forward collection points in conjunction with
Battle Damage Assessment Repair (BDAR) and retrograde
equipment out of the battle area.
3. (U) EXECUTION
a. (U) COMMON TASK TO CSGs
(1) Phase I. Assign dedicated support teams
tc) corps artillery and corps combat engineer units. Reduce
backlog through aggressive maintenance incorporating
cannibalization as an alternative. The goal is to achieve
maximum operational readiness. Deploying units will insure
all customer equipment is repaired and returned-to the user
or evacuated to EAC. Equipment not evacuated to EAC can be
transferred to the Corps holding area (see paragraph 4).
(2) (@ Phase 11. Finalize buildup of MST
stocks. Continue towards attaining maximum operational
readiness for supported customers. Finalize disposition +or
remaining backlog; evacuate to EAC, turn in to holding area,
ot- take forward. During movement to TAAS, CSGs will provide
recovery and evacuation for abandoned equipment on all Corps
MSRS. Once established, Logbase CHARLIE and WHISKEY provide
DS, Class IX, COMSEC, and IEW to nondivisional units and
d salvage
collection points will be established in the vicinity of
Logbase CHARLIE, also, a maintenance collection point will be
established vicinity of Logbase WHISKEY. Maintenance and
repair parts services will be provided to transitioning units
an an area basis in thei AA. On order, MSTs are OPCON to
designated supported units.
(c) V4 Phase IIIA/B. On order, priority MSTs
cross LD with supported units. All units provide emergency
repairs and repair parts to combat units. Units have BDAR
cells on standby to conduct operations as required.
Sustainment operations to units operating within the AOR
