          their function and purpose, they will not receive special
          considerations or favor.

               (5) (U) Transportation and transmission of CCP
          products in a timely manner-to the designated central filing
          or transshipment point in essential. Under no circumstance
          is CCP product to be considered routine or administrative
          material. Use of any reasonable available means of
          transportation is authorized as in :Piggy Backing' on
          MEDEVAC, resupply/retrograde airlift and other rapid ground
          transportation assets that may be available to unit
          commanders. The lgt COSCOM-PAO will advise of desired
          product delivery point for further transport to XVIII Abn
          Corps. PAO. Electronic message filing of written pool
          material should be treated as immediate precedence traffic.
          Although movement of CCP products cannot be allowed to
          interfere with operations and communications. unit commanders
          must be sensitive to this requirement and should make every
          effort to expedite the movement of CCP products.

           b. (U) Tasks.


                (1) (U) lgt COSCOM PAO

                     (U) Establish a Public Affairs Office located
          with Ist COSCOM Vain.

                     (a) (U) Designate assignment of correspondents
          to subordinate units.

                     (b) (U) Coordinate transport and escort of
          correspondents to subordinate units.

                     (c) (U) Coordinate for transport of CCPS and their
          products from forward locations to designated delivery point.

                     (d) (U) Resolve disputes regarding CCP coverage
          and OPSEC considerations or refer to higher headquarters for
          resolution.

                     (e) (U) Ensure subordinate commanders are familiar
          with ground rules.

e Units

                     (a) (U) Upon arrival of media. provide current
          unclassified operationg/situation briefing.

                     (b) (U) Provide basic support to CCP members, to
          include access to communications. megaing, berthing and
          medical treatment.
