             MEMORANDUM FOR Commander, XVIII Abn Corps (FWD), ATTN: G-5,
                              APO New York 08657

             SUBJECT: Request for Translators


             1. Due to mission requirements at the Rear Command Post, it
             is essential that one (1) translator be attached to this
             headquarters.

             2. Current missions at the Rear Command Post involve
             extensive coordination with the Host Nation. The translator
             is necessary due to the number of Saudi Officials who do not
             speak English.

             3. The translator will also be used by procurement officers
             during negotiations with local retailers.

             4. FOC this action is CPT Creed, tel 9-7672-453.
