        1.   The current Telenet Contract, a private Communication
        contract, is due expire 3C) Sep 90. Without this commltnica-
        tion capability, 18tli CFO will lose inquiry capabilities to
        soldiers pay accounts. There is a planned TAC-DDN expansion
        in country, however timing is not known. @18th CFO will con-
        tinlte -to wor,l< TAC-DDN access with Corps Signal, United
        States Army Finance and Accounting Center, and Information
        Systems Command.

        2. The 16th CFO OPPLAN Desert 3 was released today to
        assigned/attached units.

        3. U.S. coins have been ordered from the 266th 'rFC in
        Europe to ensure availability +or Tactical Field exchanges.
        This will illow the AAFES system price goods to-soldiers in
        increments of quarters instead of dollars.
