               SUBJECT:  After Action Report - Operation Desert Shield and
                           Desert Storm



                                        General Comments

                   The Detachment has performed all assigned tasks in an
               outstanding maneuver with the assistance of the Individual Ready
               Reservist personnel to fill all MTOE personnel shortages,  Help
               from the 419th Transportation Battalion staff in areas of command
               guidance, procurement of Class IX parts and daily expendable
               items.  The significant experience shared by the combined
               branches of services was the greatest success in U.S. military
               history.
