         4        SUMMARY:
         
         
                  0-66 (MI.AI. Heavy Armor), The Company Commander's tank, saw 0-12
                  get hit. C-66 backed up to a position approximately 50-75 meters
                  from 0-12. The loader from 0-12 clinbed aboard to inform the
                  Company Commander, that all crew members were OK. The loader was
                  returning to get the rest of the crew from 0—12 iten 0—12's crew
                  observed an AT ndssile hit C—SE and saw the Company Coimnander
                  thrown from the To's hatch. Several seconds later, a second
                  round impacted causing the loader to be thrown from the tank.
                  There was smoke on board the tank and the Halon automatically
                  discharged. The loader sustained a broken wrist and twisted
                  ankle. The Company Commander (TO) received flash burns to his
                  ankles, hands, and face. Although the TO was wearing a NONES
                  suit, he was not wearing either his NONES gloves or face mask.
                  The gunner had flash burns to his face and contusions/scrapes on
                  his body. The driver was uninjured. There were no secondary
                  explosions or fires and the tank was recovered on 4 Mar 91.
