                             ANNEX I

(Unmasking Procedures) to Operation Desert Storm NBC SOP

1.  Unmasking procedures will be conducted lAW FM 3-4, NBC
Protection.  (Appendix 1).

2.  The JOC Team Chief is responsible for coordinating unmasking
procedures in the lower levels of the MODA Building.   CCJ3-X will
have an M8Al Alarm, a Chemical Agent Monitor (CAM), and an M256
Chemical Agent Detector Kit available an~ will assist the JOC
Team Chief.  The "ALL CLEAR" signal will be passed by telephone
and verified through the command center.

3.  Headquarters Commandant is responsible for coordinating
unmasking procedures in the upper levels of the MODA Building.
The NBC section will provide personnel a-nd equipment to assist.
The "ALL CLEAR" signal will be passed by telephone and verified
through the CCHC NBC Room.

4.  Headquarters Commandant is responCible for coordinating
unmasking procedures in the Staff Annex.   The NBC section will
provide personnel and equipment to assisL.   The "ALL CLEAR"
signal will be passed by telephone and verified through the NBC
Office, ext 197.

4.  The compound OlC is responsible for   oordinating unmasking
procedures at the Ulaya Compound.   CCHC NBC section will provide
personnel and equipment to assist.   The "ALL CLEAR" signal will
be passed by runner.
