     Throughout~the engagement aŁthe Emir's Farm, streams 0+
EF'W's continued to +low south.        ~attalion elements simply put
their Kuwaiti translators on b~'.llhorns, directed. the EF'W's south

     When elements broke + ree + rom their positions. in. ~nd around
the Farm and +ollowed Team Tank to~~attle Fositions 172, all hands
~&re awestruck by the ominous pall 0+ smoke emanating +rom over ~O
wellhead +ires in the ~l ~urqan--Oil Field.            Commanders whose
senses were sharply +oc~sed +ound that the rumbling +rom the
burning played tricks on their hearing, sounding almost like

Wedge with Team Tank as ~OME and BOM, Team Mech on the le+t,
Company C on the right.         Behind Team Tank was the 3ump, 81's, Main
CF', and Combat Train.       C~~T 2 screened to the north and east with
C~~T 1 behind also screening to the east/right. +lank.             1/7 moved
out 0+ Battle Fosition 172 to attack ~l Jaber ~ir+'ield, MEF Obj ~,
at 16'.C.  Indirect +ires had been turned o++.at 1600 by higher
authority due to the presence o+,so many enemy units converging on

proceeded cautiously with 1/~ on our le+t.             We crossed F'hase Line

in revetments, bunkers, and the debris from aerial dropped cluster
