                     approximately 6 - 10 kilometers behind at any given moment. Four EPW's
                     were picked up while enroute that day. They were processed out upon
                     linking up with the rest of the Battalion later that evening.

                        Wednesday the 27th of February saw us on hold, pending the liberation
                     of Kuwait City by coalition forces. Operations planned for the following
                     day to clear the Al Jahra area with some mechanized infantry and a company
                     of 2nd LAI Battalion. This never took place, as the cease fire went into
                     effect on the morning of 28 February 1991 at 0600.

                D.   I March 1991 to 16 March i9gi

                        In light of the impending debarkation of troops and equipment from SWA,
                     moves were made to get non-essential items back to the Al lubail area.
                     This required the same logistical efforts needed in establishing
                     everything that had taken place to date.
