- 0320, Division continues attack forward to clear MEF obj C, Kuwait
International Airport.
- 0630, Div Fwd COC Displaces to I MEF (obi C) Kuwait City International
Airport, arrived at approx 0?00.
- 1100, Ordered Div Main up to KIA. No enemy encountered. TF Shepherd
cleared KIA, and collected approx 30 EPW'S.
- 1615, Division assumed MOPP level zero.,

300, TF moves south on highway vic TN 1284(.j3 then west along highway
vic TN 1-@734 to approach airport from south side, EPAC moving north.
- 0:33c), TF receiving RPG/Tracers from south of air-Field, no effect on TF.
- 043C), 2 Co's abreast, "A" 9, "C" Co enter the airport compound. "A" Co
(west +Ianl,) finds AP rnines/7@ EF,W's and destroys APC.
- 067,0, "A" Co raises colors US/USMC at new Div CP location. Sgt
Ederwijn Ist plt.
- C,657, "C" Co strikes Iraqi -F'@,qg and raises Fluwait NationBl flag at tne
airport. Airfield secure - building cleared.
- OBOC), "A" Co clears emergency runway -For OV-IC) with problem - not
needed.
- TF assumes security for Airport until TF Taro arrives. The past 4 days
of fighting the TF suffered no casualties or losses of eouipment 4rorri
enemy fire.

perimeter -Fence. Visibility was near zero in heavy smo@,,L- and
dart,.ness. The movement was completed by 0430, and a new defense
position established (v3c OT 86@5).
- OE3C)O, Enemy resistance had ceased in TF sector.
TASF' FORCE TARO
- 0430, TF Taro 'A' Cmd and 2/@@ (-) depart Burqan Oil Field en route to
Division Forward CP.
- 0745, TF Taro 'A' Cmd group and 2/3 (-) arrive Kuwait Internationai
Airport. Effect link up with TF Shepherd and commence security and
clearing operations.
- 0800, 2/7@ receives sniper and RPS fire -From SW of luwa2t International
Airport.
- IOL)t), 2/3 begins clearing airport. Establishes EPW holding cell.
- 150C), 3/--@ arrives at Kuwait International Airport and commences
security DPS.
- 2158, TF Taro Secures 82 EPW's captured in or around Kuwait airport.
