        0330    Received CG I MEF xsg 27123OZ Feb 91 to all stations:
                We have received the following direction from      CINCCENT.
                -  Cease offensive operations effective 050OZ.
                -  All forces will remain in current location.
                -  Assume defensive posture and be prepared to     resume
                   offensive operations.
                -  Forces are allowed to take action to defend     themselves.
                -  You are encouraged to destroy all dangerous     enemy military
                   equipment in your zone.
                -  Ensure you cease hostilities as of 050OZ.
                -  Continue to conduct reconnaissance and electronic
                   surveillance required to ensure early warning as protection
                   of forces.
                -  Continue to process EPW's in sector.
                -  Wartime ROE remains in effect.
                -  Ensure dissemination to all forces.
                -  Acknowledge receipt.

        0900-   Regt S-2 coordinated with Resistance,     controlled removal of
        1600    (157) EPWs held by Kuwaiti Resistance     in Al-Jahra.

        1000    TFA(-) relocates to CT 5,36436. Continues to destroy enemy
                equipment in zone. Totals destroyed: (1) X T-72 Tk w/ammo;
                (6) X T-55s and T-62s Tks w/ammo; (5) X PRCs type WY701
                (command vehicles); (1) X AT-3 ATGM; (2) ZU-23 AA Suns; (5)
                X 251(122mm) SPs.


        1000-   At request of Resistance, Regt S-2 conducted reconnaissance
        1500    and secured Al-Jahra telephone exchange, elementary school,
                water pump station, and postal building. No Iraqis found;
                however, much ordnance, weapons, and supplies located and
                isolated to ensure there would be no civilian casualties.

        1400-   MP Plat(Rein) removed (157) EPWs from Al-Jahra Soccer
        1630    Stadium, where they had been collected by Kuwaiti Resistance.
