21 Feb 91     Saddam Hussein agrees to seven-point Soviet peace proposal.

22 Feb 91     Iraq is given until noon 23 Feb to publicly comply with all U.N. Resolutions and rel ease
              Allied POWs.  Soviets scramble to counter propose.

23 Feb 91     After allies launch massive ground attack, Iraq announces it will destroy th e Allies and
              disgrace Bush. Iraq launches Scud into Israel.

24 Feb 91     10,000 Iraqi soldiers surrender in first 24 hours of ground operation.

25 Feb 91     Baghdad radio announces that it has ordered Iraqi troops to withdraw from Kuwait.
              Iraqi Scud missile attack destroys a U.S. barracks, killing 28.

26 Feb 91     30,000 Iraqi POW's.  21 Iraqi divisions out of action.

27 Feb 91     85,000 Iraqi POW's.  40 of 42 Iraqi divisions out of action.

28 Feb 91     Iraq declares a "great victory", and announces compliance with UN. Resolutions.
              4,000 of 4,200 Iraqi tanks destroyed.
