                        VACCINE


                               Given a force to protect, develop ways to apply vaccines within
                               production capability.

                               Determine advantages and disadvantages of these alternatives in
                               order for JCS to make operational decisions.

                               This operational decision will drive future OSD policy through the
                               recommendations in the Biological Defense Plan for Dep SECDEF
                               review.


                               By COB Friday, 4 Oct provide suggested narrative for slides
                               selected for presentation in the OPSDEP Tank briefing. Submit
                               any slide changes.

                               Provide input to Plan.


                        DETECTION

                               Develop a prioritized increment package for enhancements.
                               List enhancement, value added above current capability, assess
                               technical risk if possible, quantity needed, and total cost above line.

                               Brief Mr. Singley on technologies considered and survey approach.

                               Provide input to Plan.

                        DECON


                               Develop a prioritized increment package for latest enhancements.
                               List enhancement, value added above current capability, assess
                               technical risk if possible, quantity needed, and total cost above line.
                               Transfer an@detection requirements to Detection Group.
                               Provide input to Plan.

                        Protection Group

                               Transfer any medical related protection requirements to Vaccine
                               Group.
