     14 Feb     Charlie Co begins displacement to third position named

                Virginia City, DSG-2 forward.



                Nucleus of Al Khanjar complex completed. Have

                operational SST, O.R.'s, Triage, Pre-Op, X-Ray,

                Laboratory, Minor/Ortho clinic, and 24 bed ward.

                Additional personnel and companies arriving daily. Sth

                Engineers platoon on site, will bivouac on site and work

                around the clock, supplemented by hospital personnel, to

                construct hard back GP's. LCDR Whiteman briefs LTGEN

                Boomer and EIGEN Krulak on the Al Khanjar Medical Center.

                Construction still progressing well despite tne

                conditions of the soil. Lima Co 54 personnel left

                Al M2shab +or Al Khaniar.





     15 Feb     Charlie Co advance party displaces to Virginia City.



                Delta Co aocard. Attempting to obtain auto batteries for

                auxiliary power.



                Al Khanjar Trauma Center O.R.'s expanded to 9 operational

                areas. Modifications to SST and ICU to add X-Ray units.

                Added Pharmacy, Lxpectant Area, Med Reg., ano COC to

                complex. began Fersonnel Admin and Dental areas.



                Kilo Co contingent plans to reinforce the complex.



                All Of Lima Co aboard.     IE3() units of blood on hand.





     16 Feb     Charlie Co main body displaces to Virginia City.

                Gol+ Co holds promotions +or HN Foss to HM3 and HA

                Patrick to HN.





                Modifications made to Al Khanjar complex to add 3 more

                O.R.'s. Supplemented by Kilo Co. with 3 Surgical teams.

                Plan to add six additional ICU beds wnen accomplished.

                Med Reg. fully functional. A&S floor reinforced +or

                X-Ray machine movement. Ward 3 completed with 36 bed

 shortfalls identified +or Nurses and

                HM's. BILte/Golo concept of watches set up 0800-0800.





     17 Feb     H&S Go second PMU detachment departed +or Al Khanjar.



                Delta Co holds Change of command, LCDR Gee relieves LT

                Watkins.





                All personnel from Lima, Hotel, and Delta Companies

                aboard. Awaiting arrival of Kilo Co personnel. All

                wards and CSC completed. Full capability of hospital

                will be 270 beds and 12 O.R.'s with 4 X-Ray units.

                Syscon gravity feed site prepared. Showers and laundry

                functional. Vat can +or hot chow in progress. All

                remaining gear staged at site. LZ completed and

                operational. Mass casualty drills in progress. Puolic

                Address System up. Received first patient.
