(2) Be prepared to decontaminate all casualties prior to
,evacuation to the regimental casualty collection point.
Upon approval overflow contaminated casualties may be
sent directly to the regimental casualty decon site.
(3) Cross the line of departure in MOPP 2 using the OG-84
suits including those that have been resealed and
maintain the British lightweight suit (BLS) as secondary
suit.
(4) Be prepared to begin NAPP and Cipro pre-treatment an G-1
day.
(5) Be prepared to conduct monitoring for hydrogen sulfide
as additional detector kits become available.
(6) Submit all unit decontamination site grids to this
headquarters when determined.
(7) Ensure priority of decontamination is:
(a) Personnel.
(b) Combat essential equipment.
(c) Combat support equipment.
(d) Combat service support equipment.
(8) Employ hasty decontamination techniques as the primary
method of decontamination.
(9) Assume all Iraqi mines, missiles, artillery and aircraft
attacks to be chemical until proven otherwise.
(10) Chemical attack 'all clear signal" will be initiated
by this Hbadquarters.
(11) Contaminated areas will be marked in accordance with
reference (b).
4. ADMINISTRATION AND LOGISTICS
a. Logistics
(1) The mobile decon detachment will be deployed on a
priority basis to support/augment individual unit decon
efforts upon completion of chemical casualtyVdecon site
activation.
