        TO:  USCENTCOM/J4-7E

      1.  Operation Desert Storm has brought continued heavy mission
      requirements for 24 hour heavy equipment operations through the
      second month of this project.  The Base Civil Engineer initially
      addressed this request to LGC rather than to CENTAF/DE.  Please make
      the necessary adjustments to the rental contract.  The rental period
      for that contract is 22 Dec 90 to 19 Feb 91.

      2.  Rental equipment is still required to support mission
      requirements as stated in the BCE's 23 Jan 91 letter and attached DD
      Form 1391.  Request you expedite approval and execution of this as
      either a new or renewed contract.
