CRITICAL ISSUE
 
SUBJECT: War Readiness Spares Kits (WRSK) 
 
OBSERVATION: Harvest Falcon assets have been placed in service to 
beddown and feed personnel. Kits are incomplete in some cases. 
Equipment requires service and maintenance. Extremely limited WRSK 
and spares available. 
 
ACTION: Asked L&S and TAC/BS to expedite WRSK and spares. 
Established CEMIRT for depot maintenance of electrical assets within 
AOR. Working local purchase of routine maintenance spare parts for 
electrical assets. WRSK kits for MEP-7 and MEP--6 generators sent to 
sites. Less than 70\ quantity of MEP-7 and MEP-6 WRSK kits available 
for number of generators. CEMIRT inventoried limited number of MEP-12 
kits and identified shortfalls. Incomplete kits sourced through LG 
to be sent to sites. Only 60% of MEP-12 kits available. Many WRSK 
items not available in AOR. Please ensure that WRSK kits are 
substantially complete prior to sending them to AOR locations. WRSK 
for ECU's now arriving in theatre and being dispersed to sites. This 
is critical since sites do not have spare parts to make repairs. 
T.O.'s are also not available to identify repair parts.
