experienced pair of eyes only and then trust their judgement.

- Make sure when you run parts North that they are genuinely
needed and not just "anticipated". Again, this ties in with what
was said above.

- We flew 124/128 sorties.

FEB 10: DAY 25

- They could not find the ventral panel for 1416. They swapped
1223's with a/c 1416, which has become the FOL's cann bird.

- a/c 1148, they R and R'ed the engine.

- The heater requested for the FOL never went out. AGE hauled it
down to TMO and left it without securing it or completing any
paperwork. People are doing things too hurriedly and as a re
sult, having to go back and reaccomplish tasks because they
weren't done right the first time.

- Some more strut guidance came in today. It looks like we will
be getting twelve struts to aid us in the time change in addition
to the three we already possess. We will get a strut and change
it while we either rebuild them or send them away for repair. We
have sufficient backshop hydraulics to accomplish this and will
not be requesting any more individuals.

- We are again having problems with info passed from the FOL.
The POC is not sufficiently briefing people on situation and we
are getting a million and one questions from a million and one
individuals. 

- a/c 1416 was not fixed by the command servo we sent up.

- Per ops, they will not switch tails to the jets of preference
anymore. Also, ground safety said no more changing the Mode 2's
because it's a hazard around the running jets. We'll simply
inform the pilot that he doesn't have the code he thinks.

- We had a problem this morning with an engine getting issued
without complete paperwork. CRS needs to verify this when an
engine shipment comes in and to alert folks that the engine is
off limits until the paperwork needed to fly it is received.

- We have had a lot of TER's punched. Come to find out ops
policy has been that for CBU's and one luggers, they are to
jettison the TER, not the bomb if they encounter difficulty.
Talked with the DO and got this resolved.

- We are sending a message out on the 80-01 pods. They are
