comtinually broke, and are costing us lines. One the other hand,
we have been flying them into the ground and when they fly, they
do the job.

- We get a lot of FCF spare engines. My policy is to hand out
non FCF engines at night if they can make a line for the next
morning, but if they are hard broke, they get an FCF spare.

- Just got word from the FOL that ABDR and the pilot say they can
fly a/c 1416 back because ABDR created another one and that we
don't need to get them another ventral panel.

- Ops has again cleared it to rainbow pilots. If they rainbow
pods they need to change the control panels for them.

- a/c 1148 returned from Dhahran and landed Code One. The folks
will be returning tomorrow.

- Today we had the best oranges we've had since we've been
here!!! You know you've been here too long when things like this
make your war log.

- We flew 116 out of 122 lines.

- a/c 1299 diverted to Doha for possible ABDR. The pilot said he
saw something on the intake. We think it was a clean spot. No
damage noted.

- a/c 1416 is still stuck at the FOL. The command servo we sent
up was suspected bad and they are back to square one. Time to
start fixing and stop troubleshooting!!! We are now sending them
a DEEU, a flight control battery, a frequency monitor, and anoth-
er command servo

- The spectroil at the FOL is still on the fritz. It is not
detecting high nickel content so we must reverify everything once
it lands back here.

- We had problems with four EPU's today and are looking at park-
ing locations of these jets because they were all in the 10th.
Possible high winds and blowing sand of last three days may have
been causing problems somehow. We have also experienced throttle
binding problems which may also be impacted by the weather prob-
lems.

- The three BAI jets made it in.

FEB 11: DAY 26

- Today the parts are on the way for 1416. They are requesting a
Flight Control Battery, another command servo because they shot
the one we sent before down, a DEEU, and a frequency monitor. We
had to make sure they started including part numbers so we could
specifically identify what they needed. We certainly don't have
