because it will be their's until we leave with it. Also because
the 17th is already busy with 3 acceptance inspections and the
33rd has one too.

- We dropped five lines yesterday, 2 for Chaff/Flare from the
same aircraft, one for EPU, one for Left Stab ISA, and one for
Weather. We flew a total of 123/128 and had 1 FCF.

- The ceiling on personnel is back in effect so we are making
sure that if we lose someone for PCS or separation, we always
leave a spot blank. Our request for an engine manager was re-
ceived in time, however, and we are getting TSgt John Gill from
Langley any day.

FEB 22: DAY 37

- The pilots started out the morning by stepping to the wrong
four ships. The first group of 33rd pilots took the jets from
the other 33rd pilots and boy were they hot-- to put it nicely.
They are complaining because they can not always fly their AMU's
jets. Due to aircraft availibility, we sometimes must rainbow to
meet the mission. I spoke with the DO and he said to press with
business as usual.

- a/c 1268 IFE'ed for an AB Blow Out

- We got our airlift for our people and engine from Jubail and
for our two NM motors to return from KKMC.

- We dropped two lines at the FOL today one for a/c 1213 for an
ADG leak, and one for a/c 1241 for a bad nozzle position indica-
tion. a/c 1150 air aborted for trapped fuel in both wings and
his wingman sympathied. Our total for the day was 126/128 plus
one FCF.

- a/c 1153 RON'ed at the FOL for a bad ISA. The C-130 left with
 the two fresh engines.

- Our deployed engineer from Hill is telling us that we have six
jets rapidly approaching out of limits wing cracks. We are going
to request a repair team from depot to come out and do the re-
pairs.

- We must always put sand bags in the bottom of the squirt boxes
otherwise they will tip over in the wind and with the jets pull-
ing around and blasting them.

- We had a jet today with a crushed DTA by the torque tube. From
what QA can gather it may be a result of the pilots storing gas
masks behind the seats. The crew dogs were reminded to exercise
extra care when placing the pilot's masks behind them and to make
sure the canopy is clear when they close it.
