File: aabff_26.txt- Due to our wartime commitment, we have received a great number of overfly's and waivers on various inspections and time changes. For overfly's, these will be judged on a case by case basis, remembering that once we get home they must all be complied with immediately. If we can do it without the extension because the jet is in phase or hard broke, then we will do it at the original time. - McEntyre also sent the FOL a non-FCF engine. FEB 23: DAY 38 - Aircraft 1153 greened up at KKMC for the ISA but they are holding it until the FOL birds all land and are turned because they might need to stick a briefed pilot in it to fly the remain- der of the day's mission if his a/c is broke. Now that's plan- ning ahead. - We lost a total of three lines today to fly 125 out of a sched- uled 128. - We had the first report of wobbly wings with the parent mounted MK 84's. - We are fragged with 87's for tomorrow and Bush's deadline of 2100L is rapidly approaching. Looks like tomorrow will be the ground invasion day. - Our CENTAF visitor, MSgt Zaworski, worked the morning to con- nect our computer up to Tinker via the STU and a Modum. This way we can see exactly where the engines are that have still not been loaded in the system and showing installed in the jets. He is also working to get the Tinker satellite address to our Comm folks here so they can speak directly. Still looking for our engine manager. - Analysis is getting the numbers ready for when we exceed the Coronet Warrior II TAC 30 day record of 1077 sorties for the 17TFW and AMU as a wing. - Overall a real smooth day. FEB 24: DAY 39 - a/c 1247 air aborted for cabin pressure for the third time after the impoundment had been cleared last night. He brought his wingman back (1287) so the war will last two sorties longer. - a/c 1159 air aborted for chaff/flare. We have had a rash of these recently.
