Update on Medical lessons Learned-Desert Shield/Storm (Your
Message, 161700Z Jan 92)
HQ USAF/SGHR
1. The attached Joint Universal Lessons Learned System
(JULLS) Long report for JULLS Number 41833-39199 is forward
in response to your message. This JULLS report primarily
addresses actions taken by HQ SAC to meet active duty
requirements. Although our initial submission during April
1991 included several topics, the majority of them were
either informative or needed to be worked outside of this
headquarters.
2. In addition to actions taken by HQ SAC on the attached
JULLS, the Air National Guard has taken steps to meet Air
Reserve Component (ARC) Squadron Medical Element (SME)
requirements for SAC-gained units. This includes requesting
authorizations for four medical personnel in UTC 3YCAE and
review of potential training programs necessary to achieve
and maintain proficiency. The request for UTC revision is
currently at HQ SAC for coordination prior to being forward
to AF/RE for approval.
