	There is also a local cantina inside tent
city where Americans could buy various items, ie. soap, shampoo,
cookies, etc. using either American money or the local currency -
 Dirham (the exchange rate was 3.68 Dirham to the dollar).
 	Meals at Al-Dhafra consisted of two hot meals (breakfast
 and dinner) and two Meals Ready to Eat (MRE's) for lunch and mid-
 night chow. To boost morale, the Friday evening meal consisted of
 food purchased in Abu Dhabi; i.e. Kentucky Fried Chicken or Pizza
 Hut pizzas. There was also a local cantina in  building 60 which
 offered a local dish of rice and chicken and pita bread for
 about two to four dirham.
 Security
  	Security in and around tent city provided by the
  363rd Security Police personnel. this consisted of roving patrols
  of Security police and fixed observation post around tent city.
  There is also a steel 8 foot security fence around the complex
  and a trench to prevent penetration by vehicles. At night, light
  carts were used to illuminate the perimeter of  tent city, and the
  363rd security  police used night scopes to monitor the perimeter
  around the camp.   In addition to these measures the UAE also con-
  ducted a dusk to dawn helicopter aerial surveillance around the
  tent  city and the base. Security of the 306SW tankers was handled by a six-personnel 513th Security Police Squadron team armed only
with M-16's and 9MM weapons.  These individuals provided 24 hour
