site hardening, attack response actions, and base recovery. During
this period the SECDEF announced there would be no troop rotations.
Further he announced a build-up of forces under Phase II deployments
which involved the addition of 17000 more USAF people and over 300
aircrafts to the AOR. Two new sites were identified, King Khalid
Military City (KMC) and A1 Kharj AB as new CENTAF operating
locations. As a result, the CENTAF/DE staff worked requirement for
additional manpower and Harvest Falcon assets to beddown these forces.
At other sites, additional aircraft squadrons ere added along with
increased combat support efforts. Specific events of this reporting
 period follows:

 a. Disappointed with the progress at A1 Ayn in setting up their
9-1 field kitchen. Little Support was evident from the Wing Commander
or the Prime RIBS Chief to wean themselves off the contract food
service support. After months of excuses and promises the field
kitchen became operational at approximately C+120.

 b. The CENTAF Mortuary Plan was finalized and distributed to the
sites (see previous 10 day report). Temporary burial procedures and
handling of contaminated remains were resolved.

 c. Thanksgiving holiday decorations arrived in the AOR on 7 Nov
 90. Through the excellent support from the TAC/BS who procured them,
we shipped packages to sites to help morale during the start of the
 Fall holiday season.

 d. King Fahd decided not to connect their tactical field
laundries (TFL's]. Prime RIBS were quite satisfied with the laundry
contract. Regardless, the Prime RIBS folks are supporting our request
to test the UNIMAC laundry system when they arrive.

 e. Accomplished a manpower drill to identify manning required
should a rotation policy be approved. Most sites have done a
commendable job of identifying required E&S manpower.

 f. Identified and requested the TAC/BS purchase of an additional
15 Ice machines and 35 table mixers for the AOR field kitchens. We
also identified requirements for Christmas decorations and provided a
signed copy of the USCENTAF/CC holiday greeting for printing. Ice
machines arrived in the AOR in early December 1990.
