		 Thursday We all had heavy workloads. It was
		 23 Aug 90 hot in the overcrowded office. Air
				 Conditioning was overloaded. DE's 17
				 people were working off one desk and
				 one phone.

		 Saturday Faxed SITREP to Battle Staff at CENTAF
				REAR (HQ TAC) on 16 active sites. It
				was very hard to get in contact with
				site, especially on a secure line;
				This along with the crowded
				conditions, created a lot of
				 frustration for the staff . The staff
				 was anxious to visit the sites to get
				 a better picture of what's going on
				 out in the field.
				 Tuesday Logistics flow was jammed due to all
				 25 Aug 90 the requirements placed on the system:
				 weapons, people, equipment, food,
				 etc., all requiring airlift or
				 sealift. We set priorities for sites
				 needing Harvest Falcon equipment -
				 (Temper Tents; power generators, water
				 systems, kitchen sets, etc.) Computer
				 and photocopy support was a limiting
				 factor on our staff productivity.

		 Wednesday Diverted 22 C-130s from Khamis Mushait
				 29 Aug 90 to A1 Ayn, providing Harvest Falcon
				 Equipment to a higher priority site.
				 Met a Morale Officer (Chaplain);
				  helped lift my spirit.
