File: 110196_aacoz_16.txtThursday We all had heavy workloads. It was 23 Aug 90 hot in the overcrowded office. Air Conditioning was overloaded. DE's 17 people were working off one desk and one phone. Saturday Faxed SITREP to Battle Staff at CENTAF REAR (HQ TAC) on 16 active sites. It was very hard to get in contact with site, especially on a secure line; This along with the crowded conditions, created a lot of frustration for the staff . The staff was anxious to visit the sites to get a better picture of what's going on out in the field. Tuesday Logistics flow was jammed due to all 25 Aug 90 the requirements placed on the system: weapons, people, equipment, food, etc., all requiring airlift or sealift. We set priorities for sites needing Harvest Falcon equipment - (Temper Tents; power generators, water systems, kitchen sets, etc.) Computer and photocopy support was a limiting factor on our staff productivity. Wednesday Diverted 22 C-130s from Khamis Mushait 29 Aug 90 to A1 Ayn, providing Harvest Falcon Equipment to a higher priority site. Met a Morale Officer (Chaplain); helped lift my spirit.
