                    M8A1 ALARM/M42 REMOTE ALARM MONITORS CHECKLIST
   
         1. If alarm sounds during or after an enemy attack:
   
         	a. Don protective mask if you have not done so already and
         ensure other personnel in the immediate area also don masks.
   
           	b. Notify the SRC directly by calling the following phone
          numbers:  Tactical: 851/852.  Commercial:  3758/3759/3760.      
   
         	c. Give location and time that alarm first sounded. At the
         same time, broadcast the following message on all radio nets
         available:
   
                Nerve agent contamination suspected M8A1 alarm
                activated at __________________ _____________
   
               Repeat message three times !!!
   
         2. If Alarm sounds and no attack has occurred, respond in accord-
         ance with alarm and MOPP level conditions, then notify
         the SRC.
