         - THIRD COUNTRY NATIONALS: The overwhelming majority of
         TCNs within the AOR express gratitude for US military presence and are
         genuinely thankful for USAF forces in the AOR. At the same time however, they
         also express fear that the US forces may be creating a target in their living

         --AIR BASE ATTACK THREATS: KFIA is within range of Iraq's
         conventional weapons. Iraqi aircraft and SCUD missiles represent the most
         significant threat, though these could most likely be countered by air defense

                 Ground attack seems the least likely, considering the gauntlet of
         US troops and equipment between KFIA and the Kuwaiti-Iraqi-Saudi border.
