 ---ENTRY CONTROL PROCEDURES: (U) Entry to KFIA is controlled by USAF
 Security Police, Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) Security, and KFIA (SABCO)
 Security Personnel. Since the initiation Or hostilities, unlimited access to
the KFIA has been granted to U.S. and Saudi Military personnel, and employees
 of the Saudi Arabian Bechtel Company (SABCO). Sub-contract personnel
 assigned to SABCO, personnel contracted by the military forces, and visitors
 must be escorted at all times. Visitor control procedures are handled by
 SABCO personnel. A visitor badge system was initiated by SABCO. The badge
 system consists of six colored badges which correspond with six different
 areas on KFIA.

 --LOCAL US/HOST AIR DEFENSE CAPABILITIES: Defense against air
 attack is provided by Echo Battery 2, 7th Air Defense Artillery (ADA).

        If needed, fighter/interceptor aircraft from Dhahran
would provide additional air defense and interdiction. The proximity of King
 Fahd and nearby (Dhahran) King Abdul Aziz aerodromes, gives KFIA the
 advantages of the resources of the 11th ADA and its component equipment and
 early warning systems.
