MEDICAL LESSONS LEARNED

MOBILITY/MOBILIZATION CATEGORY

    ITEM NO. 13 REQUIRED MOBILITY ITEMS
    (SGHR ITEMS NO. 51)

    DISCUSSION: All personnel did not deploy with required Items.

    RECOMMENDATIONS: (1) 1AES obtain a list of required Items and distribute to
    ARC HQs. (2) All units should review mobility Items and send lists to ARC
    HQs.

    ACTIONS REQUIRED: HQ AMC Is reviewing TAs for requirements for AE crews.
    Additionally, appropriate Items that are required for mobility are determined,
    by the AORs In OPLANS. During ODS the AOR Instituted additional requirements
    that organizations, Including medical, did not have appropriate stock levels
    on hand. All medical units should be prepared to meet the stipulated OPLAN
    mobility requirements. If additional Items are required at execution, all
    agencies will be required to work to meet these needs.

    ACTIONS COMPLETED: AMC/SG has determined appropriate requirements for AE
 I  crews.
    STATUS: Recommend closure.
