           LOGISTICS ISSUE NO. 10 ASF, CONHOSPs TAs Need Review

        BACKGROUND: TAs for CONHOSPs and ASFs require review and modification.
        
        DISCUSSION: Teams asked to activate these systems complained that the TAs were
        inadequate and needed attention.
        
        RECOMMENDATIONS: Review CONHOSP and ASF TAs and change as needed.
        
        ACTIONS REQUIRED: Resupply procedures for SWA need to be included in theater
        planning. USAFE CONHOSPs need to be upgraded to DEPMEDs. Review CONHOSP and
        ASF TAs.
        
        ACTIONS COMPLETED: DEPMEDs meeting held in Mar 92 and equipment requirements
        were determined to be adequate. USAFE CONHOSPs had not been completely
        upgraded to DEPMEDs prior to ODS, in major part due to a theater imposed WRM
        spending moratorium. Upgrade of the remaining assemblages in Europe (post
        requirement reductions) have been accomplished through excess process and
        funding as necessary. ASF TAs were reviewed and updated by AMC.
        
        STATUS: Recommend closure.
