        Cdr's Comments: Working fixes to problems noted on CPX. Division needs to
        determine who will occupy PANTHER BASE with 3d Bde so we can work out a Master
        Plan for their LSA.

        313 MI:                                                     Submitted: 21 Nov 90

        Cdr's Comments: We continue to be critically short of Arabic linguists. This
        problem has been evident for several weeks but is more of a problem now owing
        to return of 311th and 519th MI Bn linguists. At this point in time, we have
        15 linguists on hand. We need over 50 to be able to accomplish our mission
        with high standards.

        Cdr's Comments; The Battalion once again, conducted a highly successful lokm
        Road Race for the Division's troopers. The lst Annual Desert Shield Classic
        tokm Road Race was supported by over 100 troopers from this Battalion.
        Tomorrow the Battalion Officers will begin the day with an officers PT
        session. We will conduct two Officer Professional Development classes at
        DHAHRAN Air Base. The demonstration of the Patriot Air Defense System at the
        2-7th ADA Battalion and an in-depth walk through of the mission, capabilities,
        and functions of the USAF Control and Reporting Center (CRC) also located at
        DHAHRAN IAP. The day's events will be concluded by an Officer's Hail
        conducted in conjunction with the supper meal at the Mission Inn.
