           Cdr's Comments: We continue to be critically short of Arabic linguists. This
           problem has been evident for several weeks but is more of a problem now owing
           to return of 311th and 519th MI Bn linguists. At this point in time, we have
           15 linguists on hand. We need over 50 to be able to accomplish our mission
           with high standards.

           Cdr's Comments: Battery A (-) assumed the mission to provide air defense and,
           on order, VULCAN ground fires in support of the 82d AVN BDE AA PEGASUS. The
           Battalion and Battery TOCs concluded operations in support of the Division
           CPX. The Battalion prepares to support the Desert Shield Classic lokm Road
           Race with more than 100 personnel.
